When performing gradient fractionation purification for compounds that are difficult to detect with UV detectors, methods are selected using low wavelength UV detection such as 210 nm or ELSD (Evaporative Light Scattering Detector). ELSD is a fractionation purification method that overcomes the disadvantages of UV-triggered fractionation due to the absence of baseline drift and T0 peaks.
